We started out our evening by Trick or Treating Nana! She had lots of candy and cookies...yummy stuff. She even had cute little cups and plates to go along! So we got more than just trick or treating...we got a little party! Then we went to the festival at Trinity Bible Church in Willow Park. They had an awesome thing going from the train rides, the bounce houses, games, and lots of food. I just couldn't believe it was all free!!! Noah & Ethan both really enjoyed the bounce houses! Mommy won a cupcake at the cake walk --- go me go me!! Okay back to the story...
Then after that.....shhhh (we went and rolled my mom's yard!) I believe this was the highlight of our night! We weren't sure if we were going to get to do it because Ethan was crying on the way back from the festival. But by the time we got back he had fallen asleep. So he slept in the car while we were up to our mischief. Jason, Noah, and myself had soooooo much fun. It's funny how something so simple can make your night! Noah said that was the best part of the whole night. He loved helping daddy!
Here's how Nana works...
Nana: Noah did you have fun at the festival?
Noah: Yeah
Nana: Did you get a lot of candy?
Noah: Yeah
Nana: Did you go rolling?
Noah: Yeah
Then Noah tells all...I did it, Mom did it, Dad did it. So we are about to get ready and go clean it up!!! Which is also the reason we didn't put it in the trees cause we knew we'd be cleaning it up! I can't tell you how fun it was or how much fun Noah had doing it. He even had a hard time going to sleep last night cause he couldn't wait for Nana to call! He wanted us to go back over and blow the horn so they would come out and see it!
Lots of fun stuff :) Hope everyone had a fun night!
Ahhh rolling yards...memories of the South!
ReplyDeleteWatching these videos of Ethan reminds me so much of you in high school. You used to laugh all the time. It's so cute that the same laughter and joyfulness is hereditary! How fun!
y'all rolled your mom's yard? Who are you people? You guys are CRAZY, fun but CRAZY!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is pure greatness...one of my favorite things to do with my daughter and her friends...funny thing is they too have that little thing called conviction and love to drive by and honk then go back and clean it up...once we even took all that we "cleaned up" from one yard and did someone elses. If you think rolling was fun try yarning.... :0)
ReplyDeleteLove reading your stories!
