Caleb's 1st Camp Out!
Last Friday the weather was perfect tent camping weather! So, we left our 2000 square foot house to sleep in a 120 square foot tent! Our whole family of 5 in a 10x12 tent sounds stressful but it so was NOT! Something about being outside sleeping under the stars that is just so relaxing!! I love camping, love the quietness it provides, the sounds of nature, the beauty of a night sky, and the amazing in your face family time! Of course, we are under a burn ban so no hot dog or marshmallows could be roasted :( maybe next time! We decided since it was Caleb's first time we would camp in our backyard in case things went south but he did great! So we can take him on a real camping trip this fall...yay!! It will be great-ness! Love where we are in life right now...3 great kiddos, great marriage, great family, great friends, and just a great life! Feeling very blessed :)

ReplyDeleteSo neat. I really miss that about the States - being able to camp out in the backyard. It was so much fun. Now we are barricaded behind a safe haven door every night. Okay I'll stop feeling sad now. But your pictures are just SO GOOD it makes me miss pumpkins and fall season and football and camping and all the fun stuff about the States!!!!
