Breakfast they choose, lunch they choose, but supper is mine to choose! How easy it would be if they would just sit down and eat whatever I have cooked. Look up at me and smile with a big thank you mom!!! haha...dreaming!
Our evening meal has not come close to the picture perfect meal! Kids fussing, one crying, messes being made, and the negotiations of how many bites do I have to eat..ugh!
Noah really doesn't seem to like anything healthy for the most part! He is a very picky eater! Ethan will pretty much eat anything but if Noah is fussing he will join him. So it can get very frustrating. I am dreaming of the day when we can all sit down and have a nice enjoyable supper together! But until then...
Last night we were eating a roast with potatoes and carrots. Ethan was eating pretty good until Noah started the drama of choking/gagging over his meal! Then it began! ugh! So we made a game up and it really worked! Everyone at our table is always wanting to talk...imagine that. So last night whoever sent a veggie to their belly won some talk time. Finally...Noah was eating his veggies with no disgusting gagging sounds. They both loved getting some talk time and we ended up having a peaceful meal!! Thank you God!
We will be trying that again...probably tonight while I try to get them to eat potato soup!
