Caleb is almost 3 weeks old and it has been a whirlwind of change in our home as we embrace our new little one. Jusr to show me how little I know about my kids they have not responded to their new brother the way I thought they would! Ethan has surprised me the most. I thought it was going to really rock his world and he would not want to share grandparents, parents, etc with Caleb. He has done a great job accepting Caleb and loves him so much. He has taken the new role of big brother well and wants to "help" mom with his new brother. He is not quiet sure whar all we can do with Caleb so for now he just gives him tons (and I do mean tons) of sugar and hugs. The day we got home from the hospital he just kept saying over and over, "he's so cute." It was a sweet moment to cherish! Feel the love Caleb! Noah has turned into super older big brother! He has so much pride for his new brother. Like its an accomplishment of his!!! Oh and he thinks they are going to be the Jones brothers one day just like the Jonas Brothers! So cute!! He loves holding him and Caleb seems to be calmed by Noah. Which I am sure will change as they grow!
My recovery is going great so thankful for that! I feel so blessed beyond words. We always wanted 3 kids so it feels so great to have our whole little family complete. Plus we get to celebrate my favorite holiday with all our kids. Just feel so loved and blessed! It is a surreal moment when you see these 3 beautiful faces in your home and realize how blessed you are that God gave them to you. My cup runneth over!
We didn't send out cards this year with all the chaos but we do wish you all a MERRY CHRISTMAS! It's neat having a newborn at Christmas time. Just reminds me so much of the experiences Joseph, Mary, & Jesus shared. Happy Birthday Jesus!
so glad you're having fun with your new addition! the Jones brothers... haha! cute!

ReplyDeletethis was one of my favorite posts... Christmas babies are so special~ Christopher was born the 10th and my memories are of him in his moses basket just staring at the tree I "had" to have up while on bedrest. The stories of the big boys make me smile... they truly are sweethearts... have missed you but you know I am always here... love you!
ReplyDeleteSweet! Good to hear you guys are doing well. Waiting patiently for the birth story and pictures of Caleb ;) Love ya!!
