Fun in the SUN!!!

From swimming lessons, to friends visiting from Mississippi, to fourth of July celebrations! Lots of fun :) But no way to slow this summer down...brakes!!!

Okay, lets start with the swimming lessons...Noah has improved so much from last year. He is still water shy but much improvement than before the lessons. So we will continue doing them next year but then he will be joined by his way too water comfortable brother, Ethan! Ethan is more of the scary kind that is so sure of himself it makes you panic! Noah practiced a lot in Nana and Paw Paw's pool and does more out of his comfort zone there. Everyday when we went to swimming lessons Ethan would tell Noah to jump in! I did enjoy sitting by the pool chatting with friends while Jason kept Ethan at home and Noah did his lessons! So nice to have some grown up conversations :)
At swimming lessons....
At my parents house....
We also had the greatest friends from Mississippi come spend a week with us. We had so much fun while they were here! We hit the rodeo, train rides, spray park, etc. Lots of fun in the sun! Which by the way it has been quiet toasty!! Ethan loved the rodeo. He loves horses and cows so I guess he is living in the right state for that! But when they would try to rope the calves....Ethan would yell out Go COW GO!! So I think he was cheering for the wrong side! Maybe not a rodeo man!!!
Then for the fourth...we went to two firework shows (not to mention they shot fireworks in our neighborhood all 3 nights). One here in Weatherford and one in Granbury! Both were lots of fun. But my favorite was probably Granbury because we got to sit on the beach and watch them (reminded me of Biloxi). I don't know why but watching the water is so relaxing to me! I could stay there all day! The kids loved playing in the sand and were totally covered in it! Next time we need to bring buckets for sure! We also had a cook out at my parents house for some yummmy food!
So it has been a fun past month. But the time is passing too quickly and I am not ready for this summer to come to an end anytime soon. When it does my little Noah will start K-5. So I'm trying to think of a way to make this summer go by a little slower!!! Where's the slow button?1?!?!
