My Day!

Well this morning seemed to be starting off badly but my day ended greatly!!!

This morning I got up to head to my ladies bible study at church at 9am. I put the kids in the car, got in, did my check...cell phone, keys, purse. Uh oh where's my purse? I checked the front seat, looked in the back floor, and even in the trunk. Okay maybe it's in the house...checked the house...no purse. I call Jason panicking I can't find my purse have you seen it? He says no where's the last place you had it? Ummmm oh no....the last place I know I had it was....the Target parking lot at the buggy return around 4pm the day before. Oh my gosh if I left it there you know it is stolen. So I called Target in a panic. The lady answers I start stuttering. Um yeah I was going out the door and I've looked everywhere and my purse is missing and I think I may have left it there and I'm sure it's gone by now but I think I left it in the (soft voice of embarrassment) parking lot. The lady very bubbly responds oh yes we had one turned in and put it in the safe. I think THANK YOU GOD! I said is it brown with brown hearts on it? She said let me put you on hold and check. I wait for what seemed like forever!!! She comes back yes it is. THANK YOU GOD okay I'm on my way! I get to the store we go to guest services tell the guy. He goes to get the purse. I say oh I hope it's my purse. Noah says mommy look over there at all those purses (in the purse department), maybe you can find one just like the one you lost! I thought how sweet he's trying to solve my problem even though I hadn't really explained to him what was going on! They come back with my purse and to my HUGE surprise nothing was missing....absolutely nothing. They said an associate found it and brought it into the store. It had been in the safe all night. I left the store so completely amazed at how God works and how He works even in the little details.

As the day went on I began to realize something. Here I was the night before at complete peace, sleeping, not a care, no knowledge that my purse and all my personal items were missing. God knew and had a made provision for my carelessness. He had taken care of everything and had my purse in a safe place. He had sent the person to retrieve it. The point is He knew the problem that was going to come in the morning and had already resolved it. It just reinforced even more how we do not know what tomorrow holds but God does and he has already made the provisions. So Thank You God for caring for my purse and for sending the Target associate to put it up for me. :)

There were more details to this day that just seem to be in the hands of God. I won't go into any more detail! But it seems like every meal I had, every place I went, every thing that happened just seemed to be in God's control today. Really weird, huh? One of those days where you can just see God all in it!!!!

  1. that's so great! I have been fortunate to have never had my purse stolen or anything stolen in my purse when i have left it somewhere or what not (knock on wood). It is so scary when you do something like that. What are you guys learning in your bible study? We are doing a Beth Moore study on Ester.
