Enjoying Summer!

We've been really enjoying our summer. Between Noah's end of his first Blastball season, going to a Texas Rangers game, celebrating Steven's graduation at a Medieval Dinner Theatre in Dallas and 4th of July fireworks it's been a busy one (so far). Busy but a lot of fun! We've never done so much stuff in one summer!!!

We had an enjoyable 4th too! My mom, dad, and us all went to a great firework show here in Weatherford on the 3rd. Noah was so excited...it kept going just like the energizer bunny! Then on the 4th Jason's mom, dad, sister, and her two kids all came to visit for the weekend. We went to a 4th of July celebration in Granbury that ended with a huge firework show that kept going ang going too!! Saturday we spent most of the day at the Fort Worth Stockyards (www.fortworthstockyards.org) watching a cattle drive, a pretend shoot out, and letting the kids take part in the cow camp learning thing! I think everyone had a lot of fun and enjoyed the walk back in time!

Yesterday Noah started swimming lessons which are going pretty good for a kid who hates to get water in his face! He will not be an olympic swimmer anytime soon but our goal is hopefully to just get him ok with the water!

I haven't even reported that Ethan is walking. He started cruising at 8 months, taking a few steps at 11 months, and has really taken off at 13 months! He walks everywhere now and sometimes tries to run! No more crawling for him!

I thought I'd just drop a note since it's been awhile!!! Hope you guys are all having a Happy Summer despite the gas & grocery prices!
