Getting Real...

I absolutely love being a stay at home mom. I love being there for my kids all the time. I am thankful that I have been allowed this opportunity and grateful to my hubby for working so hard to provide for us. I do not love housework or laundry but I do love the opportunity to snuggle with my kids! That being said I always want to do something outside the home that is just for me. No matter how perfect my day is I still have a longing to make a difference out there. I want to explore my passions and make a difference in someone else's life that does not share my same last name. Of course, I want to make a difference in my kids lives and my hubby's life but I want to impact others too.

I tried teaching high school and that was not my calling at all. The experience did make me 100% more grateful to my kids teachers though. Every experience we have in life teaches us, molds us, and shapes us into the people we are/becoming. I am thankful for a super supportive husband who lets me try different passions while finding out what it is I really want to do. So, my pursuit is not over! I don't want a full time job though because that was too hard on our family.

I started reading this amazing book, Storyline. Simply helps you to set goals and live a life on purpose. I want my life to be purposeful. My passion is people. I know that I want to make a difference in someone's life but how? This book has been a great start for me. Everyone should buy it and do it!

When the credits roll at the end of life I want to have lived a full and purposeful life. Making the time count. I am seeking God right now but I do have an idea for my next career pursuit. I just wanted to share my heart in case someone else out there feels the same way...if so, buy this book!!!
