Last weekend we took a little trip to Jellystone Park in Burleson, TX. Originally we had planned on doing the adjacent water park, Pirate's Cove, but it turned out to be a little too cool for that! So, instead we took part in all the festivities at Jellystone! The kids had so much fun and everything was really geared toward them plus easy on the pocketbook...score! Noah said it was "a children's paradise"!!! He is such a nut!! They also had a scavenger hunt. The families all met in the bear's den, instructions were given out, and the race began! We ran back to the bears den with our answer sheet all filled in...yes ran! We walked in and saw families already there but their answers were not correct...so...we won 1st place! Go team Jones!!! Our prize was popsicle sticks!! They had outdoor games, hay rides, dance with a bear, inflatable corral, pedal karts...so much for our little ones to take part in! Plus the room had bunk beds so they were pumped! Caleb was a little shy of the bears in costume but had no problem with the giant plastic yogi! Go figure!

I just need to read your blog for fun family ideas! Looks like a great time!
ReplyDeletehaha...thanks!!! Your girls would love it :)
DeleteThat looks like so much fun! We've been to the Jellystone in Yorktown IL, but they didn't have cabin rooms - that would be awesome! It was still a lot of fun though! Your pictures are great!
