Me on Ice!

So a few (probably more like several) months ago Jason planned a completely surprise fun date! Our sitter just showed up and away we went! We drove into the DFW and little did I know what was coming my way! Ever since I was a little girl I dreamed of being an ice skater! I am sure like many of you I danced around in my socks pretending to be Michelle Kwan! So to my surprise this date took us to the Ice Rink in Arlington at the Parks Mall! I was getting so nervous as I laced up my skates as I remembered back to the last time I had been on the ice (maybe before we had Noah?)! Yikes! I told Jason I am getting really nervous. He said would you feel better if you had a coach? I said YES, do they do that here? He said here she comes! I looked up and saw Alison Bean headed my way! She is such a great and sweet friend, who just happened to be a figure skater coach in Canada before moving here! She knows her stuff! Its amazing how much she showed me in just one day! I felt so relieved and knew this was going to be FUN! Afterward we all hit up the Cheesecake Factory! This day will really go down on the top of my best day ever list after wedding, and all my kids birth, etc! He did good, really good! Love my hubby and love how much thought he put into making this a perfect day! Was awesome too that I had such a great coach! Feel the love!
