Full of energy and drama!
So today at Wal-Mart while finishing up our grocery shopping Ethan proved to me that he can do more than I know! We were in the produce section where I had just finished putting green beans in the basket and was selecting a head of lettuce. Then I heard...Mommy!!! I turn to him and to my surprise he was dripping wet from head to toe! My thoughts were how? what in the world? where did this water come from? how? again how? The answer Ethan had found a water hose in the produce area which was actually hidden and had sprayed himself! Are you kidding me? Never a dull moment with Ethan!
Then we headed to the back of the store to pick up one more thing I needed for a new recipe I am cooking. As we were walking Ethan (who is still wet) said with a hesitation in his voice, "Mom I need to tell you something?" Oh my...what Ethan? Ethan, "I poked a hole in it!". WHAT is he talking about? Yes he had poked several holes in my ground beef. So after sanitizing his hand I explained again why he didn't need to touch things. When we got to the checkout the lady took one look at him with his wet hair and said what happened to you? I told her about our day and we both laughed!! She even didn't make me pay for the meat that had to be trashed.
Our adventure continued in the parking lot! When we got to the car I realized Caleb had taken off one shoe somewhere in Wal-Mart. This means my child has no more shoes! He is bad about taking them off and we were down to his last pair! When I told Jason about my day he asked if I went back in to look for the shoe? Are you kidding me?? haha...NO!
Haha! That cracked me up Jones. When is number 4 coming?? ;)
ReplyDeletewow... he is something else! I've heard of kids poking holes in the meat but I've never heard of any finding the hose and soaking themselves... at least he only got himself!
ReplyDeleteI needed to hear that someone else has days like that...although that has never happened to me and I WILL NOT be sharing it with my kids!!!
