The trip of 12 states in 10 days!

Been wanting to post pics on our trip but there are just too many so I'll just write about it!!! We drove from Weatherford, TX (our home) to Blairsville, PA with all three of our kiddos in one car! Just want to emphasize the issue! haha! We did most of our driving at night and let the kids sleep. Jason & I took turns sleeping. On the way up we went from TX across AR, TN, KY, OH, corner of WV, and into PA. Was fun since we had never been to KY or OH. Saw lots of pretty country and was surprised at all the mountains and farmland. In PA we also got to experience some of the Amish country. Which is unique but definitely not for me....I did like their chocolate though!!! We enjoyed our time there and went to the Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh, the Childrens Museaum of Pittsburgh, checked out some covered bridges, found a waterfall, went to Amish Country in Smicksburg, PA, and went to Lakemont Park in Altoona, PA. At Lakemont Park we all (except Caleb) rode the worlds oldest roller coaster. It was so wierd...only had room for 4! Also at Lakemont Park Noah drove a go kart for the first time, Ethan rode in one for the first time, and Caleb rode a ferris wheel for the first time. Lots of first!!

Then on our journey back we drove home a different route. We went from PA, through WV, VA (ate supper with some old friends), TN, corner of GA, AL, MS (stopped for one night to see family and friends), LA, and back into TX. We were exhausted when we got home and so happy to be able to spread out!!! It was a good trip and we got to see a lot of gorgeous country! The temps were cooler too...highs of 80s up there so that was really nice! But there truly is no place like home!!!
