A Child of God!

Yesterday was an awesome day for our little Noah! He has been asking questions for a few months about God, heaven, and salvation. Then yesterday I was uploading some pics from my cousins bday party and he was asking questions again. I was just answering them not really thinking about where it was headed. Then he asked me how do you get Jesus in your heart? So I explained to him the how! He then said I want to do that right now! I said oh ok. Inside I was freaking out! Wow really we are there. OK try to keep it together!! I said let me call daddy and see where he is. He had gone to get gas for the lawnmower. About that time he pulled up. I took Noah outside and we sat down on the edge of the garage and talked some more. We asked him several questions to make sure he knew what he was doing. Then again he said he wanted to do it right now. So then Jason prayed with him and I heard sweet little Noah's voice repeating the prayer to God. It was the sweetest moment ever and it was so awesome that his daddy was the one praying with him. I can't believe it!!! WOW!!! Then when we finished...Noah's little face was all a glow and I was just a basket case of emotions! Then very calmly Jason says ok I am going to finish cutting the grass and your mom is going to take you inside to tell you about baptism. WOAH...easy there daddy....let me just handle one big moment at a time!!! hahaha...we'll talk baptism another day! But our little one has made a decision to follow God with his life. That is huge and a huge responsibility on us to help him grow in his commitment to God. He is 6 years old and even though that is young we decided to just go with it in his decision. How do we know what the right age is anyway!?!?!
