Yesterday was a super crazy busy day! Let me set the scene for the embarrassing story...
OK yesterday we dropped Noah off at school and headed to Fort Worth. We went to the Saturn place to get my GPS fixed on my SUV. Ethan is doing the potty thing now which is great but sometimes when I am out with him & Caleb I wish he would just use his pants! I know that's bad to say, right!!! But here we are at the Saturn place for 1 1/2 hours (agh!) and Ethan is going potty every 5 minutes (or so it seems). Every time he needed to go I had to get my purse, diaper bag, Ethan, Caleb in his car seat, and some giant balloon (thank you car salesman) to head into the bathroom. It was a sight!!! Then we were told that they are ordering a part and I will need to come back in 2 weeks...yippee!
Then we had a busy afternoon of house stuff, picking up Noah, visit to the park, and just general care for 3 kids!! My energy level is going quickly! OK then it came time to head to baseball practice. I call Jason to remind him to go to the field from work and he says, "I am running late might not make it." AGH!! Vision of me with 3 kids at the ball field for one hour sounded like the not so perfect ending to an already not so perfect day!!! We get to the ball field I have 2 chairs strapped on my back, toting Caleb, a bottle, blanket, spit up rag, 2 jackets, Ethan, & Noah has is bat bag. We look like were moving to the ball field. Then there is a track meet going on so there was like 500 people there and we were practicing in the far back far far corner!!! So we walked and walked and walked! Then when we got back there the coaches wife helped us get set up (so nice!). I sit down and start feeding Caleb a bottle. Ethan is sitting beside me. Noah is taking care of himself and getting his equipment out. Things are looking up!!! I feel myself just let out a sigh of relief...we did it!!!
The embarrassing part...
Then I hear Ethan say, "Mom I need to go potty." AGH NOT AGAIN!!!! Now there is NO bathroom in sight and I am feeding Caleb. So I tell him just wait to Daddy gets here OK...can you hold it? Then one of the dad's on the team says he could take him if there was a bathroom around. So I say I don't see one so he will probably have to go down to the trees to potty. Ethan says, "No I will pee on the grass". Then he starts pushing his pants down. I am saying NOOOO. But I can't rearrange Caleb quick enough to get to him. Next the undies are going down. Me still screaming NOOOOO. Ethan LAUGHING and peeing on the grass. Keep in mind he his facing the ball field and all the 500 people there for the track meet. Plus there is a lady sitting pretty close to me in a folding chair and he is in between us. OH MY WORD...this kid!!!! My face was extremely red!!
At the end...Jason still was not there...so another dad helped me get all my kids & our luggage to the car!!! I definitely have NOT gotten this 3 kid thing down yet!!! Then we hit Chik Fil A for supper before passing out at home from this crazy day!
Oh and today is not off to a much better start...
~ wal-mart grocery shopping with 2, Caleb started screaming...had to feed him a bottle while shopping
~ Get home go to put the clothes in the dryer and Ethan had put his pull up in the washer so now I am washing the washer and about to restart our clothes
Can I have a boring SLOW day please!!!!!!! I guess when they are grown, right! Then I will probably be begging for all the crazy again...well we will see!!!
ahhhhhh that is stressing me out just reading it. you are something else girl. keep up the good work. it's a pain enough going to the potty with one... 3??? yikes. maybe I'm done after this one. haha.
