New Year Resolution!

So its that time again. A time of reflection and a time to look forward. A time to better ourselves (hopefully) in some area of our life! Now of course I am trying to loose the baby weight so that's a gimme!

But after reflection into my life and my relationships the theme that seems to stick out for this year is ... TO GROW!

By that I mean TO GROW...
1) In my relationship with God. To find the time to have a real quiet time without kids or house interruptions. To learn more about Him and to give myself more to Him.
2) In my marriage with Jason. To find time to make dates a regular occurrence!!! To love, encourage, appreciate, uplift, and laugh with my hubby! To not take life and all its problems too serious.
3) In my children. To make memories. To press on when I am tired and do the fun stuff with them anyway! To laugh with them, hold them, encourage them, and enjoy them! To let some stuff go and choose my battles!
4) In my family and friendships. To make time to get to know the people in my lives and their families! To build beyond the surface and learn more about the person! To listen, encourage, laugh, love, and inspire those around me!

It's a big wish list for a new year and I hope at the end of the year I can say I have accomplished these things. Not that these things will ever truly be done but that I can say I have grown...that's the goal! I don't want to be the same this time next year!!! To grow!

  2. I loved reading your breakdown of how you want to grow. I don't usually make resolutions, but I've got three this year. So far so good! The best thing has been reading the Bible with all my guys. I guess that hits spiritual growth, time with my husband and time with the boys. Yeah!

  3. Would you write my resolution for me? I don't have one--maybe survive! Survive this year would be a good one!
