We went to the Weatherford High School football game this past Friday night. Of course, we didn't expect to stay for the whole game because Ethan usually goes to bed at 7:30pm and the game didn't start until 7:30pm. We went anyway because we've really been wanting and waiting for football to get kicked off! So we decided to take what we could get. You know some is better than none!
Of course this cheering attitude didn't last long! But how cute is little Ethan?
The score was looking not so good!
We made it until half time then we had to go. We did get to see the band do their thing and they were really good! Unfortunately the Roo's did not make a comeback and lost with the final score of Roo's 28 and Arlington Lamar Vikings 72. Better luck next time! :)
We continued our football weekend with a tailgate party Saturday (really just tailgating food for me, Jason, & the kids). After the kids went to bed, Jason & I watched the Texas Longhorns play UTEP and win!! Final score Longhorns 42 -- El Paso 13! Yeah Longhorns!!
Okay now all this score talk kind of makes me feel a bit like a news reporter so I am done!!!

ReplyDeleteI love football too. Good to know other females dig pigskin. Brandon had been wanting to go to a Roo's game, but I just prefer to watch at home, college and NFL of course. Maybe we'll venture out to a Roo's game soon. Honestly, I think he is more interested in watching the band than the team. He was one of those in HS.
