Well, after much prayer (and I do mean A LOT) ... we are moving again! We have sought job opportunties here in Tennessee but nothing has produced. This has been an incredible time of learning and God has increased our faith. I believe God brought us here to get our full attention so He could work on some things in our lives. We will miss the Church and the friendships we've made. It appears the doors are closing here and that God is moving us again! So tommorrow we will be heading out to Weatherford, Texas. It's located outside of Fort Worth. Jason & I aren't sure how long we will stay out there. One thing we've learned from living here is that we really miss friends and family. So eventually we would like to move back to Mississippi but as far now we will be going to pursue this opportunity God has provided in Texas.
It was funny cause I was dead set against going to Texas I wanted to stay in Tennessee. Then I started praying for God to align my heart up with His will for our lives. After that --- my desires started to change. It's funny cause I was thinking God was going to say you can stay here! God does know more about us than we do and He knows where we need to be.
One night I woke up singing a song, "You are my shepherd, I have no need, You lead me beside peaceful streams and You are in Control, You are in control." Then I realized that no matter what happened God was in control. We have prayed for this door to Texas to close if it isn't God's will but it keeps opening so now we just have to walk through it trusting in the fact that God is in control.
So please pray for our family as we make another transition so soon. Also we learned through this that Jason's credit is messed up. Somebody elses' stuff is pulling on his credit. They have someone elses social, name, addressess, and credit history on our credit report. Which brought our credit score down to 520 cause this person has really bad credit. So we have got to try and get this fixed so please pray for that to get cleared up real soon too.
Hey Jason & April (Noah & Ethan too)! As I've told you recently, Joey & I love you guys very much & will always continue to have you in our thoughts & prayers. We hope you have a really safe journey to Texas (and by the time you read this you will have made it there). Keep in touch! It's so great to have e-mail, blogs & pictures to keep far away friends close. WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!! :) Talk to you soon!!

ReplyDeleteHi! This is Chris' wife Lori, I have been sitting up reading your blog and I have found it to be really helpful to me. With Chris going to Texas Saturday I have been really nervous about being away from him and about this big change, and we have been discussing moving and have prayed about that but have not gotten any answers yet. Just wanted to let you know that what you have written here is really calming me and I feel like you have been where I am. We did not get to meet at the wedding but I look forward to getting to know you when the kids and I go out to be with Chris.
